When you have pets, vacuuming and cleaning are very important. You find pet fur everywhere and muddy paw prints across your floors.
I have a Husky and a cat, and the fur situation is continuous. I had my Dyson Animal vacuum for over ten years, and it’s still going strong. Considering the high volume of work it has to do, it has lasted really well. I would consider replacing it with another Dyson when this one gives up on me.
My Dyson has now been replaced by the Dyson Cinetic Big Ball Animal Pro vacuum.
Washing hard floors is a chore that has to be given some thought, especially when you have pets. You have to be careful about what you use on floors as cats and dogs often lick and clean their paws, making it easy for them to ingest floor cleaning products.
For this reason, I use a Morphy Richards floor steamer; this would be the equivalent. It gets the floors clean using steam. The only thing I use in the steamer is water. I have had my steamer for almost ten years, and it still does a good job. I simply wash the floor pads in the washing machine after each job. It has been extremely cost-effective over the years.
